Rebecca Sorensen is the Executive Director of the 50th \;&\; France Business Association advocating for 150 businesses at the intersection of Edina and Minneapolis. \;Rebecca manages memberships\, organizes district events\, government advocacy and marketing efforts in her new role. A Massachusetts native who moved to Edina 20 years ago following a career in public relations for the arts in New York City\, Rebecca lives for building community by creating opportunities to bring people together. She is the co-founder of the popular live music and \;storytelling series Morningside After Dark\, served as the City of Edina Arts and Culture Commission Chair and on the Edina Community Foundation and Edina Education Fund boards. Mpls/St Paul Magazine \;recognized her extensive community organizing by naming her &ldquo\;The Connector&rdquo\; in a cover story. Rebecca and her family live in the Morningside neighborhood. \;
